Description
Absence of fear is happiness. / Freedom is happiness. / Love, of course, is happiness.
There is no dearth of happiness, / look within yourself, therein lies the key…
In this collection of haiku-like verses culled from life experiences, poet Mona Bedi charts a journey of growth and self-realisation — from ignorance to knowledge, from darkness to light, from here to eternity — like dancing moonlight.
Mona Bedi is a doctor who teaches medical undergraduates. She lives in Delhi with her medical practitioner husband and two children. Her father, whom she lost at an early age, instilled the love for poetry in her. Apart from writing free verse poetry, she also loves writing haiku. She published her first book of poems, they, you and me in 2015 under the pseudonym Mira. Dancing Moonlight is her second book, which features poems she has picked up from her daily life experiences. She maintains two blogs — toweararainbow.wordpress.com and theyyouandme.wordpress.com and shares her poems on instagram.com/drmonabedi.
