Description
A Strange Story of Sir Ruben is as intensely dramatic as it is fantastic. The real and the surreal, morality and money, cleverness and greed, faith and doubt, the possible and the impossible coalesce in this compelling play, which is certain to be a success on the page as well as the stage. — K Satchidanandan, poet and critic
A Strange Story of Sir Ruben by Rishabh Kumar is set in a Kafkaesque contemporary world where grief lingers and sorrow takes on a surreal edge. The play navigates a gripping interplay of opposing ideological and rhetorical forces within a noisy, gossip-driven society. Blending social drama with dazzling political undertones, it offers a layered, tension-filled experience—gentle in tone yet piercing in its reflection on the human condition. — Prabodh Parikh, poet, painter and filmmaker
